Events Christmas Bazaar Huge thanks to all those who supported the Reading Room Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 6 December - the event raised more than £2,000 towards the upkeep of the hall, which was amazing, particularly with the absence of a Parish Council Grant in 2025. As always, the village came together, with residents pulling the stops out. There were wonderful donations for the Raffle, the Produce Stall and the Tombola. Mulled wine and a non-alcoholic apple equivalent flowed. Along with other regular stallholders, the Afghan Community Kitchen from Larkhill was given a warm welcome. Reading Room chair Alison Whipp-Long said: It's such a huge group effort and I feel humbled by how gracious and generous people are.
